Executive Assistant to Senior Director, Data, Analytics & AI

Raytheon Digital Technology has a new exciting opportunity with primary work location of Tucson, AZ. We are seeking a proven, high performing administrative professional to fill a key Executive Assistant role. This role will support directly the Senior Director of Data, Analytics, and AI and executive leaders within Digital Technology.

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be a partner and collaborate with other Executive Assistants and business leaders to understand and execute business priorities in a proactive manner. The ability to build relationships, exercise good judgment and work across the Raytheon matrix is critical. The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of how the Executive Assistant role can support business operations performance. The role will also require supporting other digital technology leaders as required.

The Executive Assistant will support all daily business administrative and coordination responsibilities, including preparation of presentations and reports, arranging meetings and events, tracking expenses and arranging travel, management of calendars, interfacing with external customers, and performing special projects as required. They will manage communications and perform other administrative and organizing tasks as necessary to promote effective and efficient operation of the organization.

The successful candidate must have the ability to understand the workflow of the organization and add value by being able to prioritize meeting requests and respond to virtual communication to include email, phone and video on behalf of the Senior Director. The Executive Assistant is responsible for the administrative management for the office of the Senior Director, Data & AI, as well as providing support to the Senior Director, Digital PST and Digital staff, working in close partnership with other administrative professionals to ensure seamless coordination and execution across teams.

An essential aspect of this position involves building and maintaining strong relationships across the company and with external partners. The successful candidate will consistently represent the organization with warmth, professionalism, and discretion. They will proactively nurture internal networks, leveraging strategic connections to help advance executive objectives and broader organizational goals.

What You Will Do

  • Manage communications and perform a variety of administrative and organizational tasks to promote effective and efficient operation of the organization.
  • Attend calls and meetings; capture actions and maintain action list to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate preparation of materials and pre-briefings ahead of meetings, when appropriate
  • Proactively identify ways to enable greater productivity and efficiency in role
  • Generate charts, tables, memoranda, reports, correspondence and other materials with speed and accuracy
  • Coordinate domestic/complex international travel arrangements and prepare expense reports
  • Coordinate and host customer and supplier visits and employee engagement meetings
  • Maintain comprehensive calendar management, including scheduling and prioritizing meetings
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly reports and as needed
  • Assist in directing work, assigning and outlining tasks; Establish follow-up system to ensure deadlines are met
  • Establish knowledge of the Raytheon Digital Leadership Team members and facility locations
  • Ability to work overtime and travel as required

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant EA experience supporting executive or senior leadership
  • Experience with multi calendar management, meeting scheduling and coordination, planning events, expense reports, and data reports.
  • Experience with Productivity tools including Microsoft office suite tools (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel), SharePoint, and OneNote
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position. US Citizenship required.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience providing complex administrative support a senior leader, specifically Digital/IT senior leader is a plus.
  • Experience planning and coordinating complex travel, domestic and/or internationally strongly preferred
  • Experience handling confidential and non-routine information strongly preferred.
  • Experience interacting with senior levels of leadership
  • Experience handling multiple tasks concurrently and making quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Raytheon's business, Policies and Procedures (Business Travel, Business Courtesies, etc.)
  • Experience with: APEX Time Recording, Expense Reporting Systems, Internet search engines and map/direction utilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Raytheon visitor request/registration systems
  • Demonstrated experience synthesizing data into information and have high attention to detail

This role is NOT Relocation eligible, as it is a remote role from a US location home office for the applicant. Infrequent travel may be needed to Raytheon Major sites to support events that are onsite.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
