Job description

As General Counsel, you’ll serve as the legal brain behind Care Access PBC international expansion, compliance, IP protection, and AI governance. You’ll navigate complex multi-jurisdictional terrain to ensure our platform is ethical, defensible, and trusted.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead global regulatory strategy across healthcare, privacy, telehealth, and AI.
  • Oversee contracts, employment law, and risk across jurisdictions.
  • Manage IP filings, licensing frameworks, and cross-border partnerships.
  • Support investment deals, SEC filings, and governance (Reg CF, Reg A+, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Trust & AI Ethics team to shape platform guardrails.
Requirements:
  • JD with active bar license (US or international equivalent).
  • 7+ years in health law, digital health, or tech-focused legal practice.
  • Experience with international compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, MDR, etc.).
  • Bonus: experience with AI law or impact litigation.
