Job description

The Presales AI Director role is a customer-facing, solution and product advisory role, with a focus on delivering AI transformation for the federal government.

Presales AI Directors partner with customers to identify a roadmap of high value AI/ML use cases that solve critical business problems, and scope initial engagements to get customers started on their journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with federal customer leaders across Business, IT, Digital, and Subject Matter Experts to identify, scope, and chart a successful AI/ML transformation roadmap for their organization.
  • Scope initial pilot engagements to start customers on their AI transformation journey.
  • Develop business cases, financial models, and ROI analysis for AI use case implementation.
  • Align customer priorities, pain points, and business problems with C3 AI technical capabilities.
  • Work with C3 AI Customer Solutions, Products, and Sales to capture new customers, expand C3 AI's footprint within existing accounts, and improve C3 AI offerings.
  • Regular travel to customer sites and C3 AI headquarters.

Qualifications:ย 

Qualified candidates are passionate about Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, excel in problem-solving, and combine an advanced business or technical degree with management consulting or product management experience. They will demonstrate an ability to align complex customer problems with C3 AI technical capabilities. Specific requirements are:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a similar field, and optionally a Master of Science or MBA degree.
  • 10+ years of work experience, including 4+ in management consulting or a software leadership position. Experience in machine learning, big data analytics, data science, and/or cloud computing.
  • Deep understanding of government operations or relevant industry domain expertise. Operating knowledge of multiple target industries and the federal domain (ideally DoD, IC, Fed Civ, manufacturing, energy, financial services, or life science) is a plus.
  • Driven, goal-oriented, with a proven record of persuasion and establishing customer relationships.
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving and business case development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to synthesize complex concepts.
  • Experience in delivering effective presentations to senior executives.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.
