Role Description

We are seeking an experienced AI Developer to design and build AI-powered applications, data products, and automation solutions that enhance analyst productivity, accelerate insight generation, streamline research workflows, and unlock value from both structured and unstructured data.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Research analysts, business stakeholders, data engineers, and software engineers to deliver innovative AI-driven solutions leveraging LLMs, agentic architectures, Databricks, and modern full-stack technologies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI-powered applications to support Investment Research workflows.

  • Build agentic AI solutions capable of retrieving, analyzing, and synthesizing research data from internal and external sources.

  • Develop intelligent document processing solutions using LLMs, OCR, NLP, and knowledge retrieval techniques.

  • Create scalable APIs and services to support AI-driven applications and integrations.

  • Build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and cloud-native technologies.

  • Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and vector-based search solutions.

  • Develop modern web applications that enable analysts and business users to interact with AI-powered tools.

  • Partner with Research analysts and technology colleagues to identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization.

  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, governance, compliance, and scalability.

  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and contribute to the team's AI roadmap and strategy.

Required Skills, Experience, and Success Factors
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and code quality.

  • Deep Python and full-stack development expertise

  • Experience building applications using Large Language Models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar).

  • Experience developing agentic AI solutions using modern frameworks.

  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, semantic search, vector databases, knowledge retrieval systems, and LLM evaluation and monitoring frameworks.

  • Experience building production-grade APIs and backend services.

  • Practical experience modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake

  • Familiarity with Delta Lake, Spark, and modern data platform architectures.
