An AI Creator is a professional who designs, develops, and implements artificial intelligence (AI) systems or content, often using tools like machine learning, natural language processing, and generative models. Their work can involve building AI-powered applications, generating digital content through AI, or training AI models to solve specific problems. AI Creators may work in diverse fields such as technology, art, entertainment, and business. They need a strong understanding of programming, data analysis, and AI concepts to effectively create and deploy intelligent systems.

How do you become an AI Creator?

To become an AI Creator, you typically need a strong foundation in programming, especially in languages like Python, and knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Gaining experience through online courses, certifications, or projects involving data analysis and neural networks can also help build relevant skills for designing and developing AI models.

How much do AI creators earn?

AI creators, or professionals developing artificial intelligence models, typically earn between $70,000 and $150,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and skill level. Senior roles or specialists with advanced skills in machine learning and deep learning can earn higher salaries, especially in tech hubs or companies with significant AI investments.

What are some common challenges faced by AI creators when developing new models or solutions?

AI Creators often encounter challenges such as ensuring high-quality, unbiased data for training models, balancing model complexity with interpretability, and keeping up with rapidly evolving technologies and best practices. Collaboration with data engineers, domain experts, and stakeholders is essential to define clear project goals and align AI solutions with business needs. Additionally, AI Creators must rigorously test models to avoid overfitting and ensure ethical, scalable deployment in real-world environments.

With over 1,600 clients, including 55 Fortune 100 companies and 6 Fortune 10 companies working with us daily, we’re transforming how enterprises interact with their technology.

So, if you’re an expert in your field, and looking for an opportunity to work, collaborate, and innovate with some of the most talented people out there, WalkMe is the place for you!

WalkMe AI represents the next evolution of our platform, bringing AI-powered experiences to employees at scale and enabling organizations to operationalize AI across their digital tech stack.

As a Pre-Sales AI Consultant at WalkMe, you will work closely with sales and presales teams across the Americas to support customers in evaluating, adopting, and scaling WalkMe AI. You will help align customer AI strategies, architectures, and business objectives with WalkMe’s AI capabilities, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.

This role is highly customer-facing and hands-on. You will guide technical discovery, lead AI-focused demonstrations and proofs of concept, and support customers as they assess how WalkMe AI fits into their broader enterprise AI initiatives. You will also collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to ensure customer feedback and market insights are effectively shared and acted upon.

This role reports to the VP of Presales, Americas and supports customers across the region.
What You'll Own
  • Partner with WalkMe Account Executives and Presales teams across Americas, taking a consultative role in customer evaluations of WalkMe AI.

  • Lead AI-focused discovery sessions, answer technical and architectural questions, and guide customers through solution design considerations.

  • Build, customize, and deliver product demonstrations that clearly communicate the value of WalkMe AI.

  • Manage technical proofs of concept, both remotely and onsite, including coordination with internal Engineering and Support teams when needed.

  • Develop strong technical relationships with customer stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted AI advisor.

  • Support escalations and complex technical discussions, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.

  • Participate in regional field activities such as customer events, executive briefings, and internal enablement sessions.

  • Act as a conduit between customers and internal teams by sharing structured feedback on product gaps, market trends, and customer needs.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Strong experience working with generative and contextual AI, including exposure to LLMs, AI architectures, deployment models, prompt development, and enterprise security considerations.

  • A minimum of 7–8 years of experience in SaaS, working with enterprise customers in a presales, sales engineering, consulting, or solution architecture capacity.

  • An AI-first approach to work, using AI tools thoughtfully to increase speed, quality, and effectiveness while applying judgment and ownership to outputs.

  • Ability to examine, interpret, and clearly articulate complex technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical depth, from engineers to executive stakeholders.

  • Experience designing and delivering compelling demonstrations and technical walkthroughs for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A strong understanding of enterprise technology environments and the business context in which AI solutions are evaluated and deployed.

  • Ability to synthesize customer feedback and communicate insights clearly to Product Management and Engineering teams.
