Exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join an established Home Health organization as a Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) in Northridge, CA.

This is a local opportunity offering $70โ€“$80 per hour for an RN with strong home health experience who is ready to take on a clinical leadership role.

About the Role

The Director of Patient Care Services provides overall clinical leadership and operational oversight for home health services. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, compliant patient care while supporting clinicians through effective supervision, coaching, and performance management.

The DPCS works closely with operations, quality, and leadership teams to maintain regulatory readiness, achieve strong clinical outcomes, and create a positive experience for both patients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise home health clinical operations and staff
  • Ensure quality patient care in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care
  • Maintain compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, California state, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Oversee clinical staff hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and performance
  • Support clinicians through coaching and ongoing education
  • Drive performance improvement and quality initiatives
  • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care
  • Serve as a key liaison between clinical staff, physicians, operations, and leadership
  • Oversee patient admissions, discharges, and overall care delivery
  • Promote strong clinical outcomes and a patient-centered culture

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of home health experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical leadership, management, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of home health clinical operations and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
