How will you contribute:

Ahern has an exciting opportunity for Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice to join the Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program working for our Omaha, NE location. This is a 5-year apprenticeship program working side-by-side with a journeymen sprinkler fitter installing automatic fire protection systems. Your employment relationship will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement. Apprentices will complete on the job training and a 5-year correspondence course towards becoming a journeyman sprinkler fitter.

What you need to qualify:

Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, have a valid driver's license along with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles, and pass appropriate drug screen and physical (the job entails a great deal of lifting and climbing). Successful candidates must be self-starters, have a strong mechanical background, have a good working and learning attitude, and be able to work in a fast paced construction environment.
