Job Description:
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Temporary, Adjunct
PRIMARY DUTY:
The School of Agricultural Sciences at Northwest Missouri State University is seeking candidates to serve as adjunct faculty for online and/or on-campus courses in agricultural sciences. Courses may be offered during the fall, spring, and/or summer terms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Interact with students to support learning and student success.
• Update and maintain the course site as needed.
• Provide substantive and timely feedback on assignments.
• Respond to student email messages in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with faculty within the School of Agricultural Sciences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in an agricultural field; master's degree in agriculture or a closely related field.
Certification/License: None required.
Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on industry experience or teaching experience in agriculture or a closely related area.
Skills: Effective interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills

Typical university classroom, laboratory, office, and online instructional environments.

Laptop computer and other technology or instructional equipment commonly used in classroom, laboratory, and online learning environments.
