Job description

Job Summary:
Seeking a Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead and coach 2-3 Agile teams, delivering multiple Agile projects or one large initiative. This role ensures effective implementation of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile best practices, facilitates collaboration across teams and stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement, maturity, and productivity in Agile adoption. The position requires managing Jira workflows, resolving impediments, and providing regular progress updates to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning)
  • Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables using Jira
  • Coach Agile teams and support organizational Agile adoption
  • Coordinate with product owners, technical managers, and stakeholders
  • Foster communication, remove blockers, and guide Agile maturity
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and GTA project methodology

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years managing IT projects
    • 5+ years as a Scrum Master
    • 3+ years administering Jira/Confluence
    • Strong SDLC and Agile knowledge
  • Certifications:
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) required
    • PMP/CAPM and advanced Agile certifications preferred
