We pride ourselves in being a family-oriented organization with a goal of upholding the safety and health of our number one asset, our employees.Position OverviewThe Aggregate Plant Mining Excavator Operator will work closely with the Plant, Maintenance, and Management Teams to ensure consistent and high-level functionality off all aspects of aggregate operations with direction provided by his/her direct manager to minimize downtime and optimize production.The ideal candidate has experience with quarrying, processing, loading, operating, and a thorough understanding of all areas related to aggregate work. They should be able to address mechanical issues and ensure the safe practices. Key Responsibilities Ability to safely and productively operate heavy equipment to excavate and move materials in an aggregate mining environment. Assist with equipment maintenance and conduct regular operational inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.Adhering to all safety procedures, ensuring proper personal protective equipment usage, and reporting any safety concerns. Collaboration - Working closely with management and maintenance technicians to identify and address issues impacting production. Before departing work each day, ensure that the area is neat, clean and orderly; all equipment is stored in their proper place and locked up appropriately for safety.Adhering to all safety procedures, ensuring proper personal protective equipment usage, and reporting any safety concerns.
