Agentforce information

What is an Agentforce?

Agentforce typically refers to a team or network of agents working together within an organization, often in industries like insurance or real estate. These agents collaborate to provide services, support clients, and achieve business goals. The term can also refer to specific platforms or agencies that coordinate independent agents for greater efficiency and reach. The structure and function of an Agentforce may vary depending on the company and industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Agentforce?

To excel as an insurance agent, you need strong sales acumen, product knowledge, and typically a relevant state insurance license. Familiarity with CRM software, quoting platforms, and digital communication tools is important for managing clients and sales pipelines. Outstanding interpersonal skills, persistence, and active listening help build trust and long-term relationships with clients. These skills are crucial for meeting sales targets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering tailored solutions in a competitive insurance market.

What are some common challenges faced by Agentforce professionals when managing multiple client accounts simultaneously?

Agentforce professionals often manage several client accounts at once, which can present challenges such as balancing competing priorities, meeting diverse client expectations, and staying organized amid shifting demands. Effective time management and clear communication are essential to ensure that each client receives timely updates and quality service. Utilizing CRM tools and regularly collaborating with team members can help streamline workflows and prevent important tasks from falling through the cracks.

Job description

Job Description:

Position Title: Architect Standard III - Agentforce Architect
Duration: 6 Months - Long Term
Location: Washington, DC 20433 (Hybrid)

BACKGROUND
Looking Agentforce Architect to design, build, integrate, and operationalize secure, scalable, and responsible agentic AI solutions built on Salesforce Agentforce and related AI platforms. This is a hands-on role that combines solution architecture with active development: defining scalable and governed agent architectures while also building and deploying production-ready agents, actions, prompts, and integrations. The engagement requires an AI-first engineering mindset—designing for probabilistic outputs with robust guardrails and fallback strategies—while balancing cost, latency, reliability, security, and user experience across the Salesforce ecosystem, enterprise data sources, and business processes.

SCOPE OF WORK
•      Design and implement enterprise-scale Agentforce architecture, including agent topics, actions, orchestration, guardrails, memory, and knowledge integration.
•      Define architecture standards, reusable design patterns, and governance guardrails, and personally develop and configure Agentforce agents, actions, prompts, and automation workflows.
•      Collaborate with business, product, security, legal, risk, and technology stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize agentic AI use cases based on value, risk, and feasibility.
•      Architect and build integrations between Agentforce and Salesforce Financial Cloud, Azure AI services, enterprise APIs, and external systems.
•      Develop Apex, Flows, and supporting services; configure knowledge sources, Data Cloud grounding, and enterprise search.
•      Design and implement RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool-calling, and multi-agent workflows with clear reasoning and escalation paths.
•      Establish and implement responsible AI controls, including human oversight, auditability, monitoring, data protection, bias and safety mitigations, and graceful degradation.
•      Define and run agent evaluation frameworks, quality and hallucination metrics, testing strategies, and operational readiness criteria.
•      Lead architecture reviews and design sessions, provide implementation guidance and mentoring, and support deployment, scalability planning, cost optimization, and ongoing platform evolution.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•      8+ years of Salesforce platform experience spanning solution architecture and hands-on development of secure, scalable, production-quality applications.
•      3+ years designing and building AI-enabled solutions, including agentic AI architectures and LLM-based systems in production.
•      Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein/Agentforce AI, and Data Cloud, including agent topics, actions, grounding, and guardrails.
•      Deep expertise in Financial Cloud and platform integrations, with strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
•      Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, vector stores, embeddings, prompt engineering, structured outputs, and evaluation frameworks.
•      Experience designing and delivering secure, governed, and cost-aware enterprise AI solutions with robust fallback and observability strategies.
•      Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns using REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native services.
•      Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, source control, and deployment automation for Salesforce.
•      Experience with Microsoft Azure AI, Azure OpenAI or equivalent AI/cloud platforms is preferred.
•      Experience working in Agile, multi-cultural teams across time zones with business, technology, security, legal, risk, and governance stakeholders.
