Job description

At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life's uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers' evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.

Job Description

About the role

As an Allstate Sales Agent, you'll grow your own book of business, build strong relationships in your community, and help people protect what matters most. This is a hybrid role, where you'll spend time on-site, but are also able to enjoy a flexible work arrangement based on business needs. If you're a competitive, goaldriven salesperson energized by unlimited earning potential, this is your opportunity to grow your own business with the support of a national brand.

How you make a difference

You'll guide clients through important insurance decisions with personalized advice that helps them get the protection they need, while strengthening your impact in the community. With coaching, development opportunities, and a team that supports your success, you'll continue to grow your skills and your business.

What does an Allstate Sales Agent do?

  • Builds and manages their pipeline through outreach, referrals, and community involvement.
  • Meets with prospective clients, understand their needs, and use consultative selling to guide them toward the right insurance solutions.
  • Stays active locally by attending events and partnering with community organizations.
  • Maintains consistent sales activity to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Nurtures relationships that lead to longterm business and repeat referrals.

What's in it for you?

This is a commission-based role. Your earnings reflect your sales performance.

  • Your earnings grow directly with your sales performance, with average earners making $70,000 to $120,000 annually.
  • Competitive uncapped commissions plus quarterly incentives, with a monthly earnings stipend to support you during periods of lower commission volume.
  • Day-one access to a flexible benefits plan and employer-matched RRSP after 90 days.
  • Licensing support, coaching, and ongoing sales development to support your long-term growth.

What you need to succeed in this role

  • A resultsdriven, targetfocused mindset with proven success meeting sales goals.
  • Experience growing your own pipeline with the motivation to expand your network community outreach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust quickly.
  • Comfort with prospecting and lead generation.
  • Ability to become licensed (or already licensed) to sell insurance in your province.
  • Sales experience in insurance or another relationship-focused field.

Is this role in-person or remote?

This is a hybrid role. You'll spend meaningful time on-site early on to build skills, meet clients, and grow your network. As you lean into your success, so will the flexibility of the role, facilitating your ability to develop your business and meet performance goals.

What you can expect from Allstate

  • Dedicated coaching, sales training, licensing support, and opportunities to grow your career.
  • Competitive earnings, benefits, incentives, and recognition for high performance.
  • A supportive network of leaders and teammates who want you to succeed and celebrate your wins.
  • A culture that respects your unique strengths and empowers you to build your business, in your own authentic way.

Who thrives in this role?

This role is a strong fit for people who:

  • Thrive in performance-driven environments with clear expectations.
  • Are motivated by building relationships and growing their earnings.
  • Enjoy connecting with people and being active in their community.
  • Want ownership over their success and a career path with room to grow.

Ready to apply?

If you're motivated to build relationships, grow your business, and make a meaningful impact in your community, we'd love to connect.
