The Showing Partner, also referred to as a Showing Assistant, supports the buyer's agent by coordinating and leading professional property tours for clients. The position generally involves working closely with a high-volume buyer's agent or real estate team. During the initial client consultation, the Showing Partner works with the buyer's agent to understand the client's home search criteria, preferences, and purchasing objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Be readily available to accommodate buyers' requests for property tours, ensuring prompt and professional scheduling to facilitate home viewings.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in competitive markets to provide buyers with timely access to sought-after properties.
  • Maintain effective communication with both buyers and their agents, keeping all parties informed about the progress of the home search and scheduled tours.
  • Assist buyers in refining their home search criteria by discussing and adjusting strategies based on property viewings.
  • Evaluate each property tour to determine how well it aligns with the buyer's criteria, and promptly notify the buyer's agent if an offer is being considered, addressing any concerns.
  • Provide buyers with the seller's property disclosure before tours and ask pertinent questions to better understand the buyer's preferences and objectives.
  • Receive compensation through a predetermined percentage upon the buyer's successful closing, with potential reimbursement for travel time or other expenses in certain situations.
