Job description

Our Commercial Lines Account Managers are the go-to resource for our clients providing white-glove service while managing their P&C insurance policies. Does this sound like the job for you? If so, keep reading!

Do you enjoy using your extensive insurance knowledge to diagnose and resolve client issues where you get to dig into the details to understand not only what happened but how you can fix it? You will be the primary point of contact responsible for the day-to-day management of a book of small to medium-sized commercial lines accounts. You will develop and maintain ongoing relationships with your clients, learning about their business and proactively helping to support their insurance needs. You will drive the renewal marketing process where you will utilize your technical expertise to engage directly with the client and carriers to provide competitive renewal options.

Your recent experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager handling small to medium sized accounts will position you to hit the ground running. You have learned how to organize your work, paying close attention to detail ensuring that all processes have been completed allowing you to meet or exceed established deadlines. You are familiar with the insurance needs for a variety of businesses and have successfully managed a book of business from initial placement through renewal.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level professional service to insured for assigned accounts.
  • Ongoing Management and oversight of active accounts.
  • Work with the Producer/Account Executive to market account renewals.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with underwriters and insurance carriers.
  • Maintain assigned client accounts in agency management system.
Requirements
  • 3 - 5 Years recent experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager is required.
  • A current Producer License for Casualty, Property & Surety is required.
  • Industry certifications such as CIC, CRIS or CISR are preferred.
