We're looking for an Agency Manager to lead The Title Center's operations, business development, and long-term growth in Illinois across multiple locations. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and employee development while serving as the primary connection between agency staff, executive leadership, customers, and underwriting partners. You'll have the opportunity to shape the agency's future by developing high-performing teams, expanding market share, and delivering exceptional service across every aspect of the business.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for multiple agency locations while establishing goals, priorities, and performance expectations.

  • Oversee all aspects of daily agency operations, including title production, search operations, commitment production, policy issuance, settlement services, construction disbursement services, customer service, and workflow management.
  • Monitor production workflow, staffing, turnaround times, vendor relationships, pending files, accounts receivable, and operational resources.
  • Conduct underwriting, settlement, and production audits while identifying operational and underwriting risks and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Develop and execute the agency's business development strategy to increase market share, profitability, and customer relationships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with banks, real estate professionals, attorneys, mortgage lenders, builders, developers, and other referral partners.
  • Represent the agency through sales calls, educational seminars, industry events, and community involvement.
  • Monitor financial performance, profitability, budgets, production expenses, and revenue goals while preparing operational and financial reports.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in title insurance, mortgage lending, real estate, or legal; at least three years of management experience.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Knowledge of title insurance underwriting and settlement procedures.
  • Experience with title production software, with SoftPro preferred.
  • Proven success in business development, sales, and relationship management.
  • Financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
