About This Role

Crievewood UMC Child Care Center, a well-established neighborhood center, provides care for children aged 2-4th grade.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team.

Preference given to education majors.

Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm in the classroom.

Hours can be flexible.

Extended hours are available during public school breaks and periods of virtual school.

Full-time hours are also available during the summer.


What You'll Do

We are looking for a team player who enjoys collaborating with other teachers.

The ideal candidate will provide care for children in the afternoons, including indoor and outdoor activities.

Applicant must be willing to obtain DHS required training hours, with our center assisting in coordination.


Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Must pass a background check.

Must be able to actively engage with the children in physical activities.


Nice To Haves

A degree in Early Childhood education, Education, or a related area is highly valued.

Previous experience working with children is also a significant advantage.
