Job Summary
As a Mad Scientist you will primarily go to schools, community centers, preschools, libraries and more to lead 30-60 minute classes for Elementary or Preschool children. Please note that this is a Part Time position.
Responsibilities
Lead 30 or 60 minute science enrichment programs using a prepared, easy-to-understand curriculum.
Each session is high-energy. It's part entertainment, part education, through a hands-on class.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children in an organized setting
  • Available at least 4 weekdays 1 pm to 6 pm per week. Weekend availability is a plus!
  • High energy, engaging and enthusiastic
  • Quick-thinking, flexible, adaptable
  • Lots of Personality
  • Responsible, reliable, organized and punctual
  • Easily able to learn new material
  • Able to work in a limited supervised environment
  • No specific education or skills required - we provide training, equipment and materials
