Job description

Does making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families matter to you? Do you have teaching experience or experience working with students ages 5-12? If so, we want to hear from you! At Club K After School Zone, we strive to make a positive difference in our students' lives every single day.
Our organization is seeking an energetic, and dedicated Teacher/Program Leader to help us lead program activities and provide an enriching after-school experience for our K-5th grade students. As a Club K Program Leader, you will organize and lead daily activities that are both educational and exciting.
Schedule - Part-time position, Monday-Friday afternoons, average 12-20 hours per week.
Location - This position would work in one of our school programs at a public school in Tigard-Tualatin, West Linn-Wilsonville, or Beaverton School District.
Compensation - Starting hourly pay rate of $17.75+ DOE and level of education (increased hourly pay is available for highly qualified teacher applicants)
Qualifications:
Teachers must have ONE of the following -
  • Experience teaching school age children (K-5th)
  • Experience working or volunteering in a licensed childcare facility with ages 5-12
  • Completed Oregon DELC school age teacher-qualifying certification(s) + trainings
  • Any degree in the education field or 2 years of college-level courses
  • An equivalent combination of childcare job experience and education

Qualifications needed before start date:
