Job description

MFTA depends on volunteers to help prepare donated materials for distribution to over 4200New York City public schools, nonprofit arts groups, art therapy and community service programs throughout New York’s 5 boroughs. The tasks assigned vary, depending on what the daily needs are in the warehouse. Projects consist of sorting and shelving donations, bundling and folding fabric, cleaning and dusting. The most common needs sorting and shelving donations

3 shifts available:

  • Morning 10am-12pm
  • Afternoon 12pm-2pm
  • Late- afternoon 3pm-5pm
