Job description

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic — Print & Bindery Systems

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday

Pay: $24/hr

A day in the life

You start your morning walking the line—presses humming, conveyors moving, die cutters ready for the next run. A folder stops mid-cycle; you trace the fault through electrical schematics, swap a sensor, and bring it back online. Before lunch, a bindery unit needs alignment, so you use precision measuring tools to dial it in. In the afternoon, you fabricate a simple bracket at the mill, touch up a weld, and wrap up with scheduled inspections to keep tomorrow’s production smooth and safe.

What you’ll handle
  • Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical issues across production equipment
  • Service machinery using manuals, diagrams, and technical specifications
  • Maintain and troubleshoot die cutters, printing presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment
  • Leverage hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete work
  • Fabricate or repair parts using welding gear and machine shop equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance routines and detailed equipment inspections
  • Verify that all equipment runs safely, reliably, and efficiently
What you bring
  • Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance covering electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Exposure to machine shop tools (lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders) is a plus
  • Proven troubleshooting mindset and strong problem-solving ability
