Job description


The Oracle Solution Architect role will be responsible for designing and guiding implementation of end-to-end solutions for our Client's on-prem and cloud Oracle infrastructure including scope, functional / technical solution, leading practices, proof-of-concept, cost and schedule
You will Be Responsible for:
• Develops and implements policies, procedures, and architectural principals to ensure that Oracle RDBMS and related infrastructure supports the organization's business requirements and meets the needs of end users
• Creates project and technology roadmaps and define migration plans to mitigate the gaps between the current and future state
• Responsible for the end-to-end solution design and technical guidance to a team of DBAs within the scope of Oracle implementation projects
• Recommends and participates in the design and implementation of standards, tools, and methodologies related to Oracle infrastructure
• Taking existing system designs and proposing options for an upgraded Oracle stack and/or better use of Oracle technology.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or Information Technology or another related field
• Extensive experience working with Oracle 12, 18 or 19
• Experience and understanding of Oracle RAC is highly desired
• Previous experience with Oracle systems implementations and upgrades
• Background in SQL and PL/SQL
• Previous experience of migrating and/or upgrading of integrated Oracle solutions in a public cloud (AWS, OCI, etc)
• Current knowledge of, and experience with, systems integration methods and technologies
• Experience in leading Oracle systems delivery including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support
• Leadership experience
• Must be able to visualize, analyze, communicate and solve complex problems, and make disciplined decisions based on available information
