WHO WE ARE // Barracuda is a neighborhood taco stand & margarita garden, offering outdoor dining and takeout, serving high quality tacos on fresh tortillas.  We believe that great food and drinks should be prepared simply - at an accessible price point - and foster fun and memorable experiences for a diverse community of people.
We are a busy, high volume restaurant, hiring team members looking to grow!
THE JOB // As a member of the team you provide our customers an exceptional, consistent experience by implementing Barracuda's standards of service, product quality, and cleanliness. Every member of our team works to create an environment where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
The following roles are all part-time and require weekend availability, including Sundays
Front-focused
  • Counter / Bar: You'll take orders, explain the menu, and control the pace of service. You'll also work to fill drink orders: our fresh margaritas (on tap!), delicious fruit beverages, and/or an ice cold Mexican Coke are essential to rounding out the ultimate taco experience. 
  • Support: Support does it all! Depending how busy we are, you may be running food and packing to-go orders, running the dips station (chips + queso, guacamole, and salsa), and maintaining the yard (tidying tables, stocking napkins and bathrooms, etc.).
Kitchen-focused
  • Line cook: Our kitchen line is all high volume, repetitive, and assembly-based, whether you're on Plancha, Mid, or Garnish. Shifts are available all day since we're open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Prep cook: Food preparation. These shifts are early morning or afternoon, since all of our food is prepped to be served the same day.

REQUIREMENTS //

  • Personable and enjoys working with customers and a diverse team
  • Personal interest and enthusiasm for food and proactive hospitality
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (6 or more hours per shift)
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (25+ pounds) and work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
