About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join Walmart’s Marketplace Partner Payments team. This role focuses on data-driven payment analysis, chargeback optimization, automation, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations teams to drive business growth and improve the partner settlement experience. This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about using data to influence business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize the end-to-end chargeback process, identifying root causes, trends, and automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models to monitor chargeback performance, seller impact, and financial exposure.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations to design data-driven solutions that improve resolution efficiency.
  • Enhance chargeback visibility and transparency for sellers through actionable insights and reporting.
  • Apply advanced analytics and statistical methods to inform policy decisions and mitigate financial risk.
  • Support scaling of settlement and chargeback processes across global marketplaces.

  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and causal inference.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional roadmaps.

Preferred Qualifications
