We are currently looking for a Large Format Print Press Machine Operator I to support our Light Manufacturing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of large-format digital printing and finishing equipment, ensuring the highest quality output while meeting production deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position also requires collaboration with design, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot large format printing and finishing equipment, including EFI Pro 30f, Vutek h5, and Colex Sharpcut SXX1732
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance, reducing downtime and extending equipment lifespan
  • Prepare files for printing, ensuring accuracy, color correction, and proper formatting using Fiery and Adobe Suite
  • Monitor print output, adjust settings, and ensure quality control throughout the production process
  • Troubleshoot printing and equipment issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize production delays
  • Work closely with the design and production teams to clarify product details and prioritize workflow
  • Execute custom finishing requirements, including cutting, trimming, mounting, and operating CNC cutter/router and other finishing tools
  • Manage materials and supplies, ensuring proper inventory levels and efficient usage
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Document maintenance schedules, troubleshooting logs, and production reports

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in large format printing
  • Proficiency in Fiery and Adobe Suite
  • Strong knowledge of large format print production, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical manuals, and job specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to lift materials and operate heavy machinery as needed
