School Year 2026-2027

After School Enrichment Instructor Aid/ Primary School Professional- Newport Mesa Unified School District

Pay: $19/per hour

AlphaBEST is looking for enthusiastic After School Enrichment Instructor Aids who want to share their love for working with children. Are you ready to inspire wonder and help students connect to a world of possibilities? We are looking for role models who want to join our team!

Location: Whittier Elementary and College Park Elementary

Grades 4th through 6th

Schedule: 1-3 and 4-6 and each class is 2 days a week - No Weekends!

As the Enrichment Instructor Aid, you will:

  • Assist instructor with elementary-aged students.
  • Pre and post-testing implementation to evaluate student progress
  • Lesson preparation and clean-up
  • Effective communication with site leadership
  • All other duties as reasonably assigned.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in the Spanish language in both spoken and written form is a plus.
  • Must have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Must be at least 18
  • Must have at least 48 completed college credits or have passed the paraeducator exam.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
  • Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
