Howden, a Chart Industries Company, is a global leader in air and gas handling products, services and solutions. Howden's core focus is on providing quality solutions for air and gas handling, and have over a century of experience in doing so.

What Will You Do?

Main purpose of job

1.   Responsible for achieving annual Aftermarket budget (bookings, revenue and margin) by preparing and managing quotes to customers and successfully winning orders for Howden products. Focus is primarily on China Steel Corp, Dragon steel Corp, China Petrochemical Corp, Formosa Plastic Corp, however, may also cover other accounts, products and/or areas.

2.   Ensure prompt and accurate responses to customers for parts and technical enquiries.

Accountabilities

1.   Sales & Budget Achievement: Responsible for achieving the annual Aftermarket budget (bookings, revenue, and margin) by preparing, managing, and delivering high-quality quotes to customers and successfully securing orders for Howden products..

2.   Key Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact and focus heavily on key accounts, including China Steel Corp (CSC), Dragon Steel Corp, China Petrochemical Development Corp (CPDC), and Formosa Plastics Group (FPG), while also managing other designated accounts, products, and territories.

3.   Enquiry Handling: Ensure prompt, accurate, and professional responses to customer enquiries regarding spare parts, maintenance, repairs, retrofits, and technical solutions.

4.   Technical Proposal Coordination: Collaborate with overseas factories and global product departments to obtain technical solutions and present tailored technical proposals based on specific customer needs.

5.   Client Relations & Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to Taiwanese clients to build deep relationships, understand their equipment operation status, and anticipate their ongoing and future needs.

6.   Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Field Service Engineers (FSE) to ensure smooth equipment operations, high customer satisfaction, and to identify service-to-sales opportunities.

7.   Data Integrity: Maintain and regularly update customer profiles, sales pipelines, and interaction records within the company system

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...

Your work location will be in Taiwan, Taipei.

Your Experience Should Be...

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal): must be able to interact and communicate effectively with customers, vendors and individuals at all levels within Howden with tact and diplomacy and with a high level of cultural sensitivity

Ability to interpret financial data and perform accurate pricing calculations (pricing, margins, exchange rates)

Experience of rotary equipment (fans, compressors, etc.) and process applications.

Experience working on ERP systems (preferably Microsoft AX or JDE).

Experience working in an aftermarket sales/spares environment.

Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and work both independently and in a team environment.

Ability to work under pressure while keeping a positive and result- driven attitude.

Negotiation skills.

High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain high level of accuracy.
