An Aflac Insurance agent is a licensed professional who sells supplemental insurance policies offered by Aflac. These policies help cover expenses that major medical insurance may not, such as out-of-pocket costs for accidents, illnesses, or hospital stays. Aflac agents educate clients about available coverage options, assist with policy selection, and provide ongoing support for claims and policy servicing. Their goal is to help individuals and businesses manage unexpected financial burdens due to health-related events.

To thrive as an Aflac Insurance Agent, you need a solid understanding of insurance products, sales techniques, and typically a state insurance license. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and Aflac's proprietary systems is important for tracking leads and managing policies. Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and effective communication set top agents apart in building client relationships.
