• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional health to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
• Formulate personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs.
• Provide tailored therapy sessions that cater to a diverse range of clients, focusing on individual therapy, couples therapy, and family dynamics.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress, feedback, and evolving circumstances.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments, ensuring compliance with organization and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients, advocating for their mental health needs and resources.
• Respond effectively to crises, providing immediate support and intervention as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest research, techniques, and trends within the field.
• Advocate for client rights and well-being, empowering clients to make informed decisions regarding their mental health treatment.
• Create and maintain a secure virtual therapy environment, ensuring client confidentiality and comfort during sessions.

Our Counseling Center caters to a wide array of clients, including adolescents facing developmental transitions, adults managing stress and life challenges, and couples striving to enhance relationship dynamics. Your expertise will be crucial in providing support across these demographics, helping each individual or couple navigate their unique pathways to mental wellness.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a relevant field is required.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Oregon.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques appropriate for diverse client populations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation.

• Experience working with children, teenagers, and adults, with a strong understanding of the complexities of family dynamics.
• Proven ability to complete client assessments and create personalized treatment plans effectively and efficiently.
• Experience conducting teletherapy sessions and utilizing digital communication tools to maintain client engagement.
