Job description

Job Description:
A Concrete Foreman's primary responsibility will be to guide, manage, schedule, and oversee all crew members assigned to their perspective project.
Typical duties include:
  • Coordinating with Project Leaders, Superintendents, and support staff
  • Determining project requirements for material, equipment, and workforce
  • Leading daily and weekly huddles with crew members to assign/review tasks
  • Creating work schedules for crew members to maintain project deadlines
  • Regularly inspecting crew member's work to ensure the highest quality
  • Resolving crew issues quickly & effectively to achieve production goals
  • Working with HR and leadership to implement disciplinary actions
  • Regularly promoting safe work practices for all crew members to follow
  • Operating equipment and tools (drills, saws, skid steers, telehandlers, etc.)
  • Conducting post-project evaluations to identify "lessons learned" for the future

Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of construction experience in a leadership position
  • Valid Driver's License or State ID
  • OSHA 10 & 30 Certifications (Thompson will train, if necessary)
  • CPR & First Aid Certification (Thompson will train, if necessary)

Shift Details: 1st Shift (work hours vary, depending on project)
