  • Key Responsibilities

    Design & Drafting

  • Create detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings for seals, components, and support systems.
  • Modify existing seal designs to suit customer equipment requirements.
  • Produce 2D and 3D models using approved engineering software.
  • Generate detailed component drawings, exploded assemblies, and production documentation.
  • Maintain drawing revisions and engineering records.
  • Technical Assessment

  • Review customer drawings and dimensional information to determine seal fit.
  • Perform dimensional comparisons between customer equipment and existing seal designs.
  • Support seal conversion projects through drafting and documentation activities.
  • Assist with technical evaluations of competitor seals and legacy designs.
  • Create engineering packages for manufacturing and procurement.
  • Product Support

  • Support sales and customer service teams with technical information.
  • Create BOMs, SAP material codes, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Assist with quotation preparation by providing technical reviews and design support.
  • Coordinate with workshop and manufacturing personnel to resolve design-related issues.
  • Engineering Support

  • Assist with custom seal designs and engineered modifications.
  • Support testing and validation activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain technical databases and engineering documentation.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting Technology, or related technical field preferred. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, preferred.
  • 3-5 years of drafting, design, or technical support experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 5-7 years' experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create engineering and manufacturing drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and assembly drawings.
  • Experience with TeamCenter, PDM systems, or other engineering document control systems.
  • Experience in CAD Design & Drafting, Drawing Interpretation, Dimensional Analysis, BOM Creation, Technical Documentation, Mechanical Design Support
  • Physical Requirements

    This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear,lift upto 50 pounds, reach with hands and arms, climb, bend, crawl, squat, and see. The employee must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation and meet all mandatory qualifications.
