Job description

Engineer Structural - Level 4 Melbourne, FL 12-month contract with the potential to be perm pay range $56.00-$66.00/hr BOE US Citizenship and DOD secret clearance required to start. Responsibilities Performing static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment, by hand and by using the automated methods and procedures approved for the program May derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract, and distribute internal loads utilizing tools such as FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter and other software applications Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years' experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis; OR Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years' experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis; OR Ph.D. degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years' experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis Secret Clearance must be active prior to the start of the position. This position is intended to be contracted to hire.
