JOB SUMMARY

This individual will be responsible for final mold seal quality leaving the Wax Department, general mold quality, and solving problems within the cell or module. The general mold quality includes obvious broken patterns, mold cleanliness, etc.

This is an internal position only. 4 positions available, must be able to work any shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Inspect Finished Wax Molds.
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Must be able to read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI).
  • Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision.
  • Must be able to maintain expected quality levels.
  • Ability to perform feedback to your peers.
  • Comply with all site required policies and procedures, including but not limited to:  EHS, Quality, Code of Conduct and the Wichita Falls Employee Handbook.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
  1. Monitor and lead assigned cell(s) to ensure quality levels are met
  2. Perform inline inspection of work in process to ensure all elements of work instructions (P.C. and AI’s) are met.
  3. Provide feedback and training to wax cell operator(s) on inline inspection findings and overall work methods to ensure quality levels are met.
  4. Identify problems in the cell/ module and participate in, and sometimes lead, problem-solving efforts and implementation of solutions.
  5. Provide feedback and recommendations for special operator training to wax supervision, when required.
  6. Follow established protocol for notification of potential deviations of scrap trends.
  7. Complies with all EHS rules related to the work environment.
  8. Communicate daily with supervision and engineering on identified NVA labor and quality   improvement.
  9. Utilize help chain when needed. (Human Performance, BOLO)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Prefer three years of wax department knowledge or experience that includes injection, inspection and assembly.
  • Possess a good comprehension of wax quality requirements
