Job Description
In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge software applications that improve building automation systems, enabling safer, more energy-efficient, and productive environments for building owners and occupants.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Duluth, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+
  • Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
  • Develop microservices architectures and integrate with distributed systems
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile ceremonies
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support system improvements

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in design and development of software solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Web API
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault)
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
  • Experience with SQL Server / Cosmos DB / NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes (nice to have)

  • Exposure to security best practices (OAuth2, Azure AD, managed identities)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
