SUMMARY

The Aviation Maintenance Scheduler independently maintains portions of project schedules and supports cross-functional coordination. This role builds executable schedules for defined scopes, monitors progress and contributes to schedule accuracy and reliability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in supporting Sales with schedule inputs for customer proposals and bids
  • Develop and maintain schedules for assigned projects or work scopes
  • Partner with program management, planning and operations to build realistic, executable schedules
  • Monitor progress against baselines and analyze schedule variances
  • Assist in providing schedule forecasts, risk assessments and project updates
  • Assist in continuously improving enterprise scheduling processes and workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy
  • Complete required training and recurrent requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • 1-3 years’ experience in scheduling or project planning
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing or project-driven environments preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret technical procedures and manuals.
