Repair & Overhaul

  • Use torque wrenches, shimming, staking, and precision assembly methods per specification

Reassembly & Testing

  • Reassemble components and assist with functional testing (manual or test stand-based)
  • Ensure proper routing through quality checks, in-process inspections, and signoffs
  • Support defect tagging, nonconformance documentation, and Return to Service (RTS) readiness

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete digital and paper traveler records accurately, supporting full traceability
  • Comply with all FAA Part 145 procedures, internal repair station manuals, and safety rules
  • Participate in internal audits, FAA inspections, and shop continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education & Training:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred
  • FAA A&P license or Repairman Certificate highly desirable but not required
  • Additional OEM, DER, or CMM-specific training (HMUs, actuators, pumps) a strong plus
  • Experience:
  • 1โ€“5 years in an aerospace MRO or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with fuel, oil, or pneumatic components preferred
  • Cleanroom, FOD prevention, and calibration-controlled processes experience a plus
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient with mechanical hand tools, measuring devices, torque tools
  • Comfortable navigating technical documents and digital records (PDFs, ERP travelers)
  • Knowledge of FAA maintenance standards and component-level airworthiness requirements

Core Competencies:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • High reliability and professionalism under FAA-regulated conditions
  • Self-starter mindset with initiative to solve problems and improve processes
