Job description

As an investment assistant, you play a hands-on role supporting the advisors by performing all the administrative and operational tasks involved in securities account management. You track client account transactions on a daily basis and resolve various administrative situations. You have to be proactive and think ahead. You have the leadership required to handle daily requests and perform tasks as instructed, in accordance with our high quality standards. You are in close, regular contact with our clients, employees and partners to answer questions, take action and keep tabs on any changes in circumstances. Highly developed interpersonal skills are therefore essential. In your actions, you strive to meet the needs of members and clients while ensuring their full satisfaction, business growth, sound risk and compliance management, and adherence to current practices and policies, as well as leveraging your ability to achieve results. More specifically, you will be required to :

  • Prepare the necessary documentation for member and client meetings.

  • Manage the advisors' calendars and voicemail.

  • Complete account openings, forms and securities transactions as directed by the advisor(s).

  • Handle certain queries, perform the necessary research and propose solutions tailored to member and client needs.

  • Take part in producing reports and statistics and preparing related documents.
