Overview
The Technology & Activation Group (TAAG) is a team of Digital Marketing technology, operations and measurement professionals supported by best-in-class technology and expertly-designed procedures.
We are looking for a Marketing Technology Manager with expertise in the fields of marketing technology, media performance management and measurement, and ad operations. The individual we are seeking will be confident with senior agency executives and clients, and clear in delivering our agency point of view and recommendations. They must have the ability to translate business data requirements into technical solutions, develop measurement strategies, and manage key relationships with digital media technology, operations, data and research partners, building best-in-class capability within Publicis Collective.
Responsibilities
Technology & Activation Group Leadership
  • Manage daily intake and workflow processes, including JIRA tickets, traffic sheets, taxonomy handoffs, revisions, approvals, and SLA adherence.
  • Maintain QA accuracy for trafficking details, tags, URLs, macros, platform IDs, and documentation before handoff.
  • Partner with media account teams to support and represent the Technology & Activation capability.
  • Work with media team leads to understand account needs and align Technology & Activation support.
  • Assign team resources across accounts based on workload and priorities.
  • Support training, onboarding, and development for Technology & Activation team members.
  • Create clear, concise documentation that outlines processes and requirements.

Technology Partner Adoption & Expertise
  • Ensure account teams understand and properly use existing platforms and technologies; coordinate vendor training when needed.
  • Identify gaps or pain points in current technology usage and communicate them to platform partners.
  • Provide POVs and help implement new or under-utilized product features.
  • Collaborate with account strategy and analytics teams to apply technology to client needs (execution, insights, measurement).

New Technology Solutions
  • Act as a central point of contact between account teams and technology partners when evaluating new tools for client use.
  • Help develop team capabilities to provide POVs and resources for new technologies.
  • Support the team in designing solution approaches for new technology opportunities.
  • Assist in developing training materials for new technologies.
  • Contribute to architecting solutions for client needs when existing technology does not address them, partnering with internal or external teams as needed.

Thought Leadership
  • Share perspective on ad and marketing technology trends with internal teams and clients.
  • Support account teams in developing tech and operations roadmaps within client lines of business.
  • Stay current on emerging tools and ensure teams are using appropriate solutions.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital media (agency or publisher side)

  • Experience with training and development, as the role involves both doing your work and supporting others on the team in their pursuit of excellence

  • Experience with digital platforms -knows the ins-and-outs of second-and third-party vendors, ad servers of all stripes (display, video, social, mobile), Tag Management Systems (GTM, Adobe, Signal, etc.), and/or VVF vendors (viewability, verification, and fraud prevention)

  • Our clients are primarily Google CM360, Flashtalking, and Innovid users, so please tell us about your ad server experience especially in self-service capacity. Also don't be shy about your expertise with floodlights, rich media, etc.

  • Knowledge/experience with Google Marketing Platform and Mobile Measurement Platforms like Branch, Appsflyer, Firebase, and Kochava

  • Experience with Conversion API implementation across different social platforms

  • Skills in QA'ing ad tags and conversion tags in a browser environment or tag diagnostic tool are key

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

Compensation Range: USD $75,050.00 - USD $120,159.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
