About:

Summit Search Group has partnered with ATP Ag on the search for their next Marketing Manager. ATP is a Canadian plant nutrition company with operations in Canada and the United States. We deliver a proactive, science-based approach to restore the balance between plant and soil health to deliver the genetic potential of broad acre crops and challenge the status quo, utilizing Agtech to monitor and drive farm productivity. ATP is seeking a full-time Marketing Generalist, reporting to the Director of Strategic Marketing. This is a great opportunity to help run the daily functions of the Sales and Marketing departments, while supporting management and employees of the company.

 

The Position:

The Marketing Manager supports the execution of ATP's marketing strategy by developing and delivering high-quality marketing initiatives across digital marketing, creative design, communications, product marketing, events, and sales support. Working under the direction of the Director of Strategic Marketing, this role is ideal for a versatile marketing professional who enjoys wearing many hats and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is a highly hands-on position where no two days are alike. One day may involve designing product literature, writing an email campaign, or editing video content, while the next could include updating the company website, coordinating a product launch, supporting a trade show, or executing digital advertising campaigns. The successful candidate is organized, creative, self-motivated, and embraces emerging technologies, including AI, to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting ATP's business objectives, including product launches, promotions, seasonal initiatives, and customer communications.
  • Coordinate multiple marketing projects while managing changing priorities.
  • Assist with campaign reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Creative Development

  • Design print and digital marketing materials including brochures, product sheets, advertisements, presentations, trade show displays, and sales collateral.
  • Write compelling copy for websites, email marketing, social media, product literature, and promotional campaigns.
  • Create graphics, presentations, and basic video content while ensuring consistent application of ATP's brand standards.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage and update website content using WordPress/Elementor.
  • Execute email marketing, social media, paid advertising (Google and Meta), and marketing automation initiatives.
  • Support search engine optimization (SEO), including emerging search technologies (AEO/GEO), and monitor campaign performance using analytics and reporting tools.

Events & Sales Support

  • Coordinate trade shows, customer meetings, and educational events.
  • Develop sales and marketing materials that support customer communications and the commercial team.
  • Manage promotional inventory, displays, and event materials.


Marketing Operations

  • Coordinate external vendors including printers, photographers, videographers, agencies, and web partners.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, digital asset libraries, and brand standards.
  • Utilize AI tools to improve research, content creation, productivity, and workflow efficiency while staying current with emerging marketing technologies and best practices.


Qualifications:

Education

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.


Experience

  • 3–7 years of progressive marketing experience across digital marketing, creative design, communications, events, and campaign execution.
  • Experience working within a small to mid-sized organization is considered an asset.
  • Agricultural industry experience is considered an asset.


Technical Skills

Experience with many of the following:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
  • Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • WordPress and Elementor
  • Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suite
  • HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar email marketing platforms
