Account Manager – Digital Advertising

Location: Ogden, UT

MarketStar is looking for an Account Manager to support our Digital Marketing Solutions team. This team drives revenue growth for digital advertising solutions across a dedicated book of Small‑to‑Midsize Business (SMB) clients. Your role is to translate client objectives into high‑impact strategies on the professional networking platform while consistently meeting revenue goals.

What Will You Do?
  • Drive revenue growth from a dedicated book of SMB clients, consistently achieving or exceeding quota expectations.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for your account portfolio, leveraging tools and processes for book segmentation and engagement.
  • Achieve quarterly client coverage and depth of engagement goals.
  • Engage a significant percentage of your book of business through video‑call meetings.
  • Enrich contact quality (when needed) and outreach to 100% of your book of business.
  • Leverage existing and new relationships with current accounts to grow revenue in strategic product areas.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on the client’s Marketing Solutions offerings.
  • Act as a digital media expert, educating clients and translating their marketing objectives into actionable strategies on the client’s Marketing Platform.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene, pipeline accuracy, and forecasting discipline.
  • Provide regular updates to the management team on pipeline, sales forecast, Objectives, and Key results (OKRs).
  • Be proactive about solving problems and ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
  • Other applicable duties as assigned.
What Will You Need to Succeed?
  • 2+ years of professional experience.
  • 1+ years of work experience in digital media sales, account management, business/sales development or a closely related function.
  • Experience in digital or social media sales.
  • Experience in marketing or a role making recommendations to marketers.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Proven communication skills across multiple channels (virtual meetings, phone, email).
  • Experience building relationships with top marketing decision‑makers.
  • Strong understanding of how Internet advertising technology works and the ability to explain it in ordinary terms.
  • Proven ability in activating and retaining new business.
  • Proven ability to manage a sizable volume of clients/accounts.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment and navigate change effectively.
  • Experience with the client’s Marketing Solutions, Campaign Manager, or similar ad platforms.
  • Salesforce proficiency and exposure to a structured sales methodology.
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort interpreting performance data.
