Director, Advertiser Solutions - Brands

Do you thrive on shaping sales strategy and leading cross-functional teams? PubMatic is seeking a dynamic Director, Advertiser Solutions - Brands to join our exceptional team! 

About the Role: 

As a key member of our team, you will report to the Senior Vice President of Advertiser Solutions and play a pivotal role in defining and executing PubMatic's sales strategy across advertisers and brands. You'll leverage your industry knowledge and strategic vision to shape long-term partnerships and drive revenue growth. If you're passionate about advertising technology and have a proven track record in leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets, this role is for you! 

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do: 

  • Define and execute PubMatic's sales strategy: Shape the direction of the sales strategy and ensure its successful execution to meet revenue targets for brands and advertisers. 
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability: Lead by example in promoting a collaborative work environment and holding the team accountable for their targets and performance. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams: Collaborate with internal teams such as Product Management, R&D, and client success teams to ensure that client needs are met effectively. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers: Develop lasting relationships with in-house teams at brands and advertisers to drive strategic growth. 
  • Shape client-specific solutions: Guide discussions with clients on the roadmap of product features and advocate for the development of solutions that meet their needs. 
  • Present to senior leadership and C-level executives: Communicate effectively with senior leaders both internally and externally, confidently navigating challenges and influencing decision-making. 
Requirements:

Who You Are: 

  • Relevant Experience: Seven plus years of experience in sales, business development, and client success within advertising technology, with 2-3 years of managing a team. 
  • Proven Revenue Driver: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue goals by leading teams to achieve objectives and grow business with brands and advertisers. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global environment to deliver client-specific solutions. 
  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to understand the dynamics of the sell-side including supply-side platforms, ad serving technology, and the programmatic advertising landscape. 
  • Executive Presence: Demonstrated ability to present effectively to C-level executives and navigate challenges with poise and confidence. 
  • High EQ Leader: Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy and emotional intelligence, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. 

Compensation And Benefits: 

Base + Bonus Compensation Range: $260,000-$400,000 

In accordance with applicable law, the above range provided is PubMatic's reasonable estimate of the cash compensation for this role. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition, PubMatic also offers a competitive benefits package.
