A day in the life...


Meridian Assistant Floor Restaurant Manager


Key Accountabilities:

Assist in overseeing service to ensure that servers and front-of-house team members have adequate knowledge of the menu, products, and purveyors and properly execute the presentation vision.

Curating and delivering the highest level of service through a well-trained and managed service team.

Be available at peak dinner times for guest and team member inquiries.

Regularly collaborate with the Meridian Restaurant Manager and other stakeholders to create, improve, and deliver a seamless guest experience to all Meridian-Headlands guests.

Assist in overseeing the bar operation.

Always maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.

Assists with the successful execution of special events and banquet service.

Effectively lead the restaurant FOH team to deliver on our brand promise.

Champion culture for the Meridian team, fostering an environment of accountability, learning, and fun!


This position reports directly to the Meridian Restaurant Manager

Requirements

You own this if you have...

2+ years of manager experience in a full-service luxury restaurant -hotel?environment experience preferred.

State certified food Handlers and/or Serve Safe certified.

Demonstrated experience and capability in the areas of staff management and food control.

Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision.

work flexible hours as required including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.
