Job Description

Join our team as Adventures Coordinator and become one of the authors of our story.  

The Adventures Coordinator is responsible for the execution, setup and clean up of our complementary and select paid guest experiences at Bishops Lodge. They are someone who is organized and efficient while having the ability to speak and work with guests while ensuring they have a memorable experience. This is a wonderful opportunity for a curious and active person to join the exciting world of hospitality and experiences. 

As part of the Bishop’s Lodge family, you will be responsible for providing high-level service for our guests at Bishops Lodge. Daily Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Setting up and breaking down areas for all weekly classes; loading and moving class supplies from one venue to another and setting up activities such as archery and art classes.

  • Leading daily hikes around property for groups of guests (all ages, easy to medium skill level)

  • Organizing & cleaning the activities storage areas and activity spaces. 

  • Reporting any maintenance needs to management. 

  • Communicating with management low stock of necessary supplies and equipment. 

  • Using a computer, hotel software systems, and printing necessary documents as needed.

  • Maintain open lines of communication with other departments.

  • Use of email during work hours for communications. 

  • Detailed knowledge of all programs, activities and experiences and be able to speak with both guests and other hotel team members. 

  • Assist with tasks related to the lodge, including but not limited to working with other departments, maintaining the lodge's appearance, and providing general support as needed for VIP guests, Corporate Group events and buyouts, etc. 

Qualifications
  • A willingness to follow procedure, complete tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner, maintain proper attendance, and comply with company policies.

  • Ability to work effectively indoors and outdoors during all seasons.

  • A curiosity to get to know guests and interact with them throughout their stay, making a positive impression. 

  • Strong organization and time management skills.

  • A passion for visual excellence and consistency.

  • Warm and inviting attitude directed toward hotel guests and fellow team members.

  • Clear and strong communication, working with all departments of the hotel.

  • Detail oriented with a desire to present all activities and gifts at the highest standard.

  • Independent worker who can be a leader and assistant to the experiences team.

  • Has a positive demeanor and a sense of adventure who regularly enjoys outdoor, nature, culinary and arts related activities.

  • Full availability over weekends and holidays. 

Physical Demands: Long periods of standing, stooping, stretching, bending, walking and lifting up to 50 pounds. Able to withstand certain amounts of hot and cold temperatures.
