Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN

The Corporate Architect provides leadership in the planning, design oversight, and architectural coordination of campus facilities in support of the universityโ€™s mission and the educational ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This role ensures that all university construction, renovation, and master planning projects align with institutional goals, campus standards, regulatory requirements, and longโ€‘term strategic development. The Corporate Architect collaborates with university administration, faculty, staff, consultants, and contractors to guide projects from concept through completion while maintaining alignment with the campus master plan and the values of Seventhโ€‘day Adventist higher education.

Required Experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Architectural License in the state of Tennessee.
  • A proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT software platforms.
  • Seven to ten years of professional architectural experience with commercial/institutional projects.
  • Knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to generate construction documents and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction methods, and building systems.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
