Overview:
Role Overview:
  • Partner closely with laboratory scientists and research stakeholders to understand existing workflows, challenges, and future-state needs
  • Conduct requirement elicitation through interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughs
  • Translate business needs into structured documentation such as BRDs, process flows, use cases, and functional requirements
  • Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams including data engineering, platform, and solution architecture
  • Validate solutions with end users to ensure alignment with scientific workflows
  • Participate in governance meetings and support project execution
  • Assist in change management and user adoption by identifying training needs
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex, data-driven or technology projects
  • Experience working with laboratory scientists, research teams, or lab informatics systems
  • Background in biopharma, life sciences, or scientific R&D environments
  • Strong ability to convert scientific/operational needs into clear business requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Experience in creating formal documentation (BRDs, FRDs, use cases, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Gene Data Capture is an added advantage
