• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including histories and physical examinations, to identify and diagnose various pain-related conditions.
• Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
• Perform essential procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and other minimally invasive techniques to alleviate pain.
• Assist during surgical procedures and ensure that patients receive comprehensive follow-up care to monitor recovery and treatment efficacy.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment options, pain management strategies, and preventive care measures.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.

Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and vary widely in age and healthcare needs, ranging from those experiencing acute post-operative pain to individuals managing chronic pain. You will have the opportunity to interact with a multifaceted clientele, understanding the unique challenges they face and delivering tailored care that addresses their specific needs.

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active state licensure in New York as a Physician Assistant.
• Demonstrated experience of at least two years in clinical practice, preferably in pain management or a variety of medical specialties.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a firm understanding of treatment methodologies relevant to pain management.
• Exceptional communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with healthcare teams and clear patient interactions.

• Previous exposure to surgical settings or a background in anesthesiology is a plus.
• Experiences in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems to track patient care and maintain documentation.
• Interest in ongoing professional development and staying abreast of advancements in pain management practices.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
