Job description

Position Summary:


The Mold Maintenance associate safely performs maintenance service and repairs to molds and other tooling used in the manufacture of wind blades.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

ย ย ย ย Safely and efficiently use hand tools and power tools
ย ย ย ย Preparing all molds for operation
ย ย ย ย Ensure that standard work is being followedย 
ย ย ย ย Follow all safety protocols, especially given potential exposure to chemicals
ย ย ย ย Perform production tasks to cover absences to meet quality and delivery objectives
ย ย ย ย Essential to 5S and improving organization on the production floor
ย ย ย ย Perform all other duties as assigned


Education/ Skills/ Experience:


ย ย ย ย Demonstrated training and mentoring skills
ย ย ย ย Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
ย ย ย ย Ability to maintain a safe work environment
ย ย ย ย Previous TPI experience preferred but not required.


Physical Skills and Abilities:


ย ย ย ย Ability to be on the factory floor for long periods of time, potentially working across all shifts at times.
ย ย ย ย Stamina to work 50+ hours/week to support plant performance.
