Apprentice Gutter Installer (Installer Track Program)
Pay: $17-$35/hr (Skill-Based Progression)
West Sacramento, CA
This is not a short-term construction gig

We are The Brothers That Just Do Gutters - a nationally recognized gutter installation company known for professionalism, craftsmanship, and 5-star service. We are building a reliable, high-standards team, and we hire accordingly.

The Installer Track (How You Actually Get Paid More)
This role starts as an Apprentice and progresses based on skill + reliability, not promises.
Pay Progression (non-negotiable):
  • Apprentice (First 30 days): $17-$20/hr
  • Apprentice (30+ days, meeting standards): $20-$22/hr
  • Independent Gutter Installer (can print, cut, and hang own gutters with inside/outside tab cuts): $25+/hr
  • Advanced Installer (everything above + can fabricate & install downspouts independently): $28+/hr
  • Lead Installer / Truck Lead: $30-$35/hr

Raises are earned by demonstrated skill and reliability, not tenure.
What You'll Do
  • Assist with gutter installation, prep, and cleanup
  • Learn to safely use ladders, tools, and equipment
  • Train under an experienced Lead Installer
  • Progress toward independently cutting, hanging, and finishing gutters
  • Maintain a clean, professional job site - highly important
  • Interact respectfully with customers and teammates
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions

You will not be hired unless all are true:
  • Work start time is 7:00 AM sharp (this is not a window)
  • You have reliable transportation
  • You show up on time, every day
  • No drugs, no drinking, no smoking on job sites
  • You can take direction without attitude
  • You are willing to submit to a background check
  • You are looking for long-term, stable work
  • You are physically able to lift ladders and work on roofs

Zero-Tolerance Policy During Probation
All new hires begin with a 30-day probation period.
During probation:
  • Any lateness = termination
  • Any no-call / no-show = termination
  • Any disrespect to crew or customers = termination
  • Any theft = termination and police report
