Advanced Endoscopy

Monument Health in Rapid City is seeking a full-time BE/BC Advanced Endoscopist to join a growing practice with an emphasis on high-quality patient care, collegiality, and a satisfying work environment. Primary responsibility will be to run an elective advanced GI service line.

Monument Health Rapid City Hospital (a 417-bed regional tertiary care, Level 2 Trauma Center) has a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite with staff experienced in advanced procedures.

Base salary of $900K. Productivity bonus incentive opportunities start from day one. Starting and retention bonuses of up to $190K. Other benefits include relocation assistance, CME reimbursement, paid malpractice, and a full benefits package.

Step into a fully developed elective/outpatient advanced GI practice. APP support provided. All inpatient general GI responsibilities covered by our 3 inpatient GI physicians. Epic is our EMR and we use the latest Provation for endoscopy documentation. Minimal advanced GI call required at this time because most inpatient/urgent advanced procedures are handled by two inpatient GI physicians who are fellowship-trained in advanced GI. Experience (or willingness to undergo training) in endobariatric procedures is an important need from our collaborative bariatric surgery service. 24/7 in-house general/trauma surgeons Outstanding in-house intensivist service. Busy colorectal fellowship-trained surgeon on staff and a high-volume medical oncology group. Strong interventional radiology team, two GI-trained pathologists, and hepatology/hepatobiliary/liver transplant surgery support through twice-monthly Nebraska Medicine outreach clinics.
