Job description

Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Location: Richmond, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Job Description: We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Endoscopy team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for circulating and assisting in advanced endoscopy procedures including ERCP and EUS. The unit comprises two endoscopy suites, maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and assist in various endoscopic procedures such as Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and more.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse and Provation.
  • Work collaboratively with the medical team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Ensure all equipment is prepared and functioning properly prior to procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Registered Nurse license with a minimum of one year experience in circulating for advanced procedures (ERCP, EUS).
  • Expertise in robotic bronchoscopy and EBUS procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage patient ratios effectively (1:1 for circulation, up to 2 patients for PACU).
  • Certifications relevant to endoscopy nursing practice preferred.
