The Role
This position will focus on maintaining all Preventative Maintenance (P & PM) components, equipment, devices, or systems. The candidate will be expected to conduct equipment surveillance with problem solving capability in a Team environment. Candidate will work in a multi-functional environment covering all contracts. Candidate will perform required inspections, checks, analysis and documentation of all acquired data. This entails working within multiple areas of the value stream ensuring production goals, safety, quality, cost and schedule.
Candidate will be available to work flexible hours including weekends due to scheduling constraints and during emergent conditions.
Candidate will work under general and supervisory directions. Some duties and tasks may be repetitive in a supportive role.
Must Have
*Resume must be attached.
*High School graduate or equivalent is required.
*Candidates must have minimum of 3 years Electrical experience shipboard instalation and application of electrical equipment in a marine environment listed on resume
Nice to Have
*Must have ability to work in small confined spaces, work at extreme heights, stooping, kneeling, bending, crawling, and climbing when required.
*Demonstrated basic computer skills are required.
*Candidate must be able to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends as required by Management.
*This position requires the ability to understand oral and written instructions.
*Must be able to work indooors/outdoors year round in all weather conditions.
*Must be mechanically inclined.
*Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test.
*Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
